Feedback provided to tutee: After having the tutee read and reread a poem, I had her answer four corresponding comprehension questions.
Lessons about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: I learned that poetry can be intrinsically motivating for students, but its interpretations to a reader can steal time away from a tutoring session.
