Time: 3-4 p.m.
Location: CIES
Topic/Skill: Intensive reading. Seongeun and I read a few more short stories, taking turns reading each paragraph.
Feedback provided to tutee: We read two stories. After each paragraph, I checked the tutee's comprehension. Moreover, after each story, I asked her to give me some specific details about random paragraphs.
Lessons about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: I learned that the tutee spent too much time worried about her pronunciation, which I thought was mostly acceptable, and that caused her to read slower than she would otherwise be capable of.
