On February 28, Dojun and I met from 8:30-9:30pm, which was around 10:00 in the morning for him. I asked him a few questions about his job and he was eager to tell me what was going on wit his job, and I asked him about his duties. I then gave him a video that I found about the difference between 'beside' and 'besides' that I thought would be useful, because it was part of one of the idioms that I had taught the previous week. We discussed the different meaning and uses of the words, and how they are not interchangeable, and I answered a few questions that Dojun had about the words. I wanted to make sure that we looked at the idioms again, and so I prepared a short story incorporating many of the idioms. We read the story and discussed the meaning of each idiom within the story, which I really think helped in gaining a better understanding and working knowledge of the phrases.
