Daniel Bell - TS#3

Today I had my first meeting with Elia. He is a bright boy of about 12 years old. We spend the first session getting to know each other. He told me that he is from Kampala, Uganda, and has three brothers and a sister. He wants to be policeman and enjoys playing Basketball. Right away, I can tell that he speaks English very well for his experience and age. I bought a Swahili-English phrase book, which I will use as a bank for vocabulary words. After doing a few exercises, I can tell right away that he is at the foundational level, but will undoubtedly learn fast. I am excited for the weeks ahead.
