Simon Kennell CP #2

Today I met with Jatin for our second conversation partner meeting. We went to an Indian restaurant called Persis Indian Grill. I was somewhat hesitant because I had had a bad experience with spicy ethnic food in the past. However, when we arrived, there were several interesting and tasty dishes to choose from their buffett. Although the food was pretty spicy, I was able to push through and really enjoy the food that I ate. There were several different veggie dishes to choose from that had different regional flavors that Jatin told me about. Apparently, different regions in India are known for their different flavors. For example, Punjab is known for their spicy foods (the restaurant we went to was Punjab influenced). We had a great meal together and plan on meeting again soon to either go to a movie or have another meal somewhere.
