Simon Kennell TS #9

Today I met with with my child tutee for our second meeting. Much like the first meeting, we spent a lot of time using casual English to communicate on basic grounds. To my surprise, Victor remembered several of the things that we talked about on Monday. We began to speak about school and what his favorite topics and classes are. For Victor, computer classes are his favorite. This might be because a lot of computer skills are universal languages and programs much like math is. Although I am still breaking down some of the shyness, we are begging to really make some progress in the way that we are learning together. There is a very clear difference between tutoring children and adults. With children, they seem to have so much more energy and are able to soak up information. I am definitely looking forward to pushing on with Victor's progress.
