Nunez - TS #4
On Friday February 3rd, Saad and I went to International coffee hour. He
told me that his brain was tired from being in class all day, so
instead of going through the exercises I printed out, most of the
session was conversation-based. As we talked I helped him with
on-the-spot verb conjugation, especially in the simple and continuous
past tenses. My favorite part of the session was learning about nightlife and dating culture in Saudi Arabia. Apparently men can get arrested for flirting with women and Saad said he knows of people who travel to other countries just to party. He was curious about my thoughts on those restrictions and we shared some laughs talking about the cultural differences between Saudi Arabia and the U.S.
