Rachael CP # 3

On Wednesday (2/8) Aeyil and I had a lovely session where we spoke over lunch. We discussed everything from politics to religion to marriage! She speaks English very proficiently, so her mistakes were few and far between. With Aeyil, I tend to correct her by just stating the correct version. Her errors generally have to do with verb tense. We very simply sat in the CIES courtyard and ate lunch while chatting. I didn't know that there was a big Christian/Catholic presence in Korea, so I was surprised to learn that she practices Christianity. She was very interested in my Jewish upbringing, so I told her about the coming-of-age ceremony, the bat-mitzvah. We have plans to go to dinner and see Beauty and the Beast in a few weeks! I'm very much looking forward to it!
