Ansley TS #5

Today I met with my child tutee for the first time from 6-7pm.  I anticipated her level to be very basic.  I prepared vocabulary flash cards for the body parts.  We first looked at the cards together reviewing which words corresponded with which body part.  Then I asked her to read the card to me and I would point to that part on my body.  Then I read the cards to her asking which part was on her body, while repeating the word.  We then took a break to work on a spelling worksheet.  To review at the end we played a game with the flashcards.  Overall, the meeting went quite well and I look forward to building more vocabulary words together next time.
